It's not been a very productive summer for me, painting-wise. I keep starting things that never go anywhere. This one might work out, though - here is a small section of it. This particular character will be an angel, of sorts :)

If I ever finish it, I'll post the whole thing - still have a ways to go!

I am sure this one will work. The lighting is beautiful, and his hair is so soft. lovely details in the skin, the wrinkles at the neck and all the shades in the eye are so well executed. I hope I see more from you soon, it is always a treat in my inbox.

thanks - there's still a few more tweaks I want to make to his face and hair. But the rest of the picture, that's what has a long ways to go - there's a demon involved, need to work out the background further, and of course wings, ack, wings are tedious... but glad you are liking it so far! :)

Thank you! I hope I finish it too. I think it has the potential to be really interesting, if I can pull it off, and there's the main issue - can I make it work, or will I give up on yet another painting?
